South Africa-based insurer Santam Ltd. has warned that small and medium-sized businesses in South Africa are at higher risk of cyber crime due to inadequate insurance coverage, BusinessTech repoted. Thabo Twalo, chief underwriting officer at Santam, said that although many SMEs were aware of the numerous risks, they were under a strong perception that it would never happen to them.
