Axis hires former Argo E&O leader

Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. Thursday named former Argo Group International Holdings Inc. professional liability underwriter Pauline Morley as head of errors and omissions insurance for the United States.
New York-based Ms. Morley most recently was a senior vice president, head of architects and engineers and miscellaneous professional liability for Argo Pro. She will report to John Van Decker, head of global financial lines, Bermuda-based Axis said in a statement.
Among previous jobs, she spent 21 years at Western World, a unit of American International Group Inc., and five years at Tokio Marine HCC.
