A survey by Canada-based Zensurance Inc. has found that small businesses in the country are facing a heightened risk of litigation, with nearly 14% of Canadians saying that they are most likely to sue a small business or contractor for a mistake that damaged their property, Canadian Underwriter reported. Nearly 15% of Canadians said that they will take a small business to court for property damage or an injury from a product they bought.
