BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Aon PLC said Wednesday that Executive Vice President and CFO Christa Davies has decided to retire in 2025 and will move into the role of senior adviser later this year.

Ms. Davies will continue to serve as CFO into the third quarter, after certifying the brokerage’s second-quarter results, and then take up the role of senior advisor into 2025 to assist with the transition, Aon said.

The brokerage has started the process to identify a successor.

Ms. Davies, who is based in London, joined Aon in 2007 from Microsoft Corp., where she had been CFO of its platform and services division. She was named CFO of Aon in 2008.

She was a Business Insurance 2008 Women to Watch honoree.

Aon also said Wednesday that its board of directors has approved a two-year extension of CEO Greg Case’s employment agreement to April 1, 2028.
