Acrisure announces creation of Midwest region

Acrisure LLC Monday announced the formation of its Midwest Region as it continues to revamp its operating structure.
The Midwest Region includes Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin with more than 50 offices under the Acrisure name and leadership of Managing Partner Tina Semotan, Acrisure said in a statement.
Greg Williams, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Acrisure, said the Midwest region is home to a wide range of industries including trucking and transportation, farming, manufacturing and emerging tech.
The Midwest Region is the 11th and final U.S. region to be formed by Acrisure, which announced its New England region in March.
Grand Rapids, Michigan-based Acrisure, which has purchased hundreds of smaller agencies over the past decade, announced last May that it would stamp all its operations with the Acrisure name. Previously, it allowed acquired companies to continue operating under their existing names.
Acrisure is the world’s sixth-largest brokerage, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
