Talanx sees net income more than double

German insurer Talanx AG’s group net income grew by a massive 123% year-on-year to €1.6 billion ($1.7 billion) in 2023, driven by contributions from all divisions, mainly primary insurance, Verdict reported. The company’s insurance revenue increased by 9% year-on-year to €43.2 billion. Talanx reported man-made large losses of €557 million and natural disaster losses of €1.6 billion for the period.
