Coalition adds Aspen to panel of cyber insurers

Cyber managing general agent Coalition Inc. said Monday it has agreed to a multiyear capacity deal with Aspen Specialty Insurance Co.
Aspen’s capacity will be available from April 1 and the insurer will take a share of San Francisco-based Coalition’s surplus lines program, the MGA said in a statement.
The deal was brokered by McGill & Partners, Coalition said.
Aspen will join Coalition’s existing panel of insurers, which include Ferian Re, its Bermuda-based reinsurer, Allianz SE, Arch Capital Group Ltd. and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, a Coalition spokeswoman said in an email.
