Spain to fine booking.com $530 million for violating competition law

The Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission has imposed a $530 million fine on travel technology company Booking Holdings Inc. – which operates the website booking.com – for breaching competition laws, Yahoo Finance reported citing Skift. The fine in Spain comes on top of the European Union’s looming regulatory action against Booking.com based on the Digital Markets Act.
