Everest promotes reinsurance executives

Everest Group Ltd. said Thursday that Jill Beggs has been promoted to reinsurance executive vice president and chief operating officer of the reinsurance division and that Jiten Voralia has been promoted to head of North America treaty reinsurance.
Ms. Beggs will manage the reinsurance division’s worldwide portfolio, including global treaty, facultative and specialty reinsurance businesses, as well as Mt. Logan Re Ltd. She will continue to report to Jim Williamson, Everest Group COO and head of reinsurance, Everest said in a statement.
Ms. Beggs was a Business Insurance 2023 Women to Watch honoree.
Mr. Voralia will lead the reinsurance division’s treaty reinsurance business across the United States, Bermuda and Canada, reporting to Ms. Beggs.
Mr. Voralia also will continue leading the division’s North America treaty casualty business until a successor is named, the statement said.
