BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Insurance broker suspended for misuse of confidential insurer info

The Indiana Department of Insurance has suspended the license of southern Indiana broker Alan Sword for 90 days, Inside Indiana Business reports. Sword was found to have improperly received confidential information from his brother, who worked at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, the company for which Sword sold Medicare Advantage plans. The department also raised concerns about Sword's use of unapproved marketing materials and questioned his competence and trustworthiness.
