To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Simple Health fined $195M for selling 'sham' health insurance


The U.S. government has won a $195 million judgment against Florida-based Simple Health after a federal judge ruled that the company deceived consumers into buying "sham" health insurance, Healthcare Dive reports. The Federal Trade Commission filed a complaint in 2018, arguing that Simple Health misled customers into thinking they were purchasing comprehensive coverage. Instead, they were sold a medical discount membership with limited benefits.
