Aon reports 24% decline in net income

U.K.-based insurance and reinsurance broker Aon plc’s net income fell 24% year-on-year to $498 million in the fourth quarter of 2023, as an increase in total operating expenses hit the firm’s performance, Verdict reported. However, Aon’s overall revenue for the reported quarter increased by 8% year-on-year to $3.4 billion.
