Natural catastrophes top list of major risks in Hong Kong

According to the 13th Allianz Risk Barometer report, natural catastrophes have topped the list of major risks in Hong Kong for this year, moving up in the list from the sixth place in 2023, Asia Insurance Review reported. The jump in the listing is because Typhoon Haikui in September 2023 caused a heavy rainstorm to lash the region, bringing with it record rainfall and widespread flooding.
