A London tribunal has ruled that Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC must face a £6.3 billion ($7.9 billion) class action lawsuit over claims that the PlayStation maker abused its dominant market position, leading to unjust pricing for customers, The Hindu reported citing Reuters. The lawsuit, which was filed on behalf of nearly 9 million people in the U.K., claims that Sony forced digital games and add-on transactions to be exclusively conducted via the PlayStation Store, which charges a 30% commission to developers and publishers.
