A new survey reveals a decrease in combined employer and employee 401(k) contribution rates to 12.1% in 2022, down from 15.3% in 2021, according to the Plan Sponsor Council of America, reports 401K Specialist. Employee participation also slightly declined to 85.6%. Despite these drops, the overall participation remains strong, and many companies (96.2%) continue to make matching contributions.
