BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Munich Re’s profit up by over 6%

Germany-based Munich Reinsurance Co.’s net profit increased by 6.4% year-on-year to €1.17 billion ($1.25 billion) in the third quarter of this year, Morningstar reported. The reinsurer said that revenue from insurance contracts declined by 1.2% to €14.46 billion, while reinsurance revenue declined by 5.9% to €9.46 billion.
