BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Jeff Alpaugh

Aon PLC said Tuesday it has hired Jeff Alpaugh from rival Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. to be president of the brokerage’s North America operations.

Boston-based Mr. Alpaugh was previously U.S. chief country officer for Marsh McLennan, and U.S. and Canada growth practice leader and global real estate and hospitality practice leader for its brokerage unit. He joined Marsh McLennan in 1989.

Mr. Alpaugh will join Aon on Nov. 14 and report to Jennifer Bell, CEO of North America, an Aon spokeswoman said.
