BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
Risk Strategies Co. Inc. said Wednesday that it and One80 Intermediaries Inc., both based in Boston, will be reorganized under the newly formed Accession Risk Management Group parent brand by their common equity sponsor, Kelso & Co.
Accession will have approximately 5,000 employees across Risk Strategies and One80 and combined revenue “approaching $1.5 billion,” according to a Risk Strategies statement, which said the group will continue to pursue further specialty acquisitions. Accession will be led by John Mina as global CEO. He was previously CEO of Risk Strategies, a retail specialty brokerage. One80 Intermediaries is a specialty wholesale brokerage and program manager.
Mr. Mina said in the statement the move gives the brokerage broader opportunity to serve clients “across an expanding set of niche and specialty market segments.”
