Insurtech Pie names former Chubb exec as CFO

Denver-based Pie Insurance Group said Monday it has named Audra Foglietta, formerly Chubb Ltd. executive vice president and chief financial officer of global operations and technology, as its chief financial officer.
Ms. Foglietta, who begins her new position Oct. 9., will succeed Tom Grossi, Pie’s current CFO, who will leave the company in October, the company said in a statement.
It said, “We worked with Tom to ensure we have no gaps in the role and closely collaborated with him to find his successor.”
Pie, an insurtech company, specializes in commercial insurance for small businesses, including workers compensation.
Pie has received more than $615 million in funding and partnered with more than 4,000 agencies nationwide, the company said in its statement.
