BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Willis Towers Watson PLC said Monday it has hired Karen Beldy Torborg, a former Marsh LLC managing director, to drive mergers and acquisitions strategy and head up the large accounts segment for its corporate risk and broking business in North America.

She will report to Mike Chang, head of corporate risk and broking, North America, in the dual role.

As head of strategic growth and portfolio management, New York-based Ms. Torborg will identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities for the business, exploring specialty prospects within the broking, affinity, MGA and personal lines sectors across the U.S., Canada and Bermuda, WTW said.

As head of large accounts for the corporate risk and broking business, she will collaborate with global client advocates and lead relationship managers to strengthen WTW’s business relationships across the Fortune 1,000 market.

Ms. Torborg most recently served as global engagement partner at Marsh and prior to that served in various leadership roles within Marsh’s private equity and mergers and acquisitions services division.
