AEGIS promotes William Hillman to president, CEO

Associated Electric & Gas Insurance Services Ltd. on Thursday named William L. Hillman, currently executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, as its next president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2024.
Mr. Hillman succeeds William P. Cullen, who is retiring from the East Rutherford, New Jersey-based energy mutual insurer at the end of the year.
Mr. Cullen will remain on the board and Mr. Hillman will be elected as a director of the company, AEGIS said in a statement.
Under Mr. Hillman’s leadership, Tom Cain, currently vice president and renewable energy product manager, will be promoted to senior vice president, head of property. Martin Gaffney, currently vice president and senior underwriting officer of excess liability, will be promoted to senior vice president, head of casualty.
