To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Middle East and Africa only region to see uptick in insurance M&As

A report published by Clyde & Co. showed that the Middle East and Africa was the only region worldwide to see an uptick in insurance mergers and acquisitions in the first half of this year, with nine deals completed compared to eight in the previous six months, Middle East Insurance Review reported. The report said that the increasing regulatory burden will force insurers to explore M&A opportunities in the region.
