Swedish Club delivers profit of $16 million

Mutual marine insurer The Swedish Club delivered a profit of $16 million and a combined ratio of 98% for the first half of the year, as its insurance portfolio continues to develop strongly in terms of both volumes and quality, Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reported. The insurer’s reserves have increased to $166 million, supported by encouraging developments during the year in terms of insurance results as well as investment contributions.
