China plans to become reinsurance hub

Zhang Zhongning, deputy director of the general office of the National Administration of Financial Regulation, said that the regulator plans to establish the country as a global reinsurance hub, Verdict reported citing China Daily. As part of the plans, an international board will be draw up regulations governing the sector. Mr. Zhongning added that a global reinsurance function zone would be created in Lingang Special Area.
