To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Nonlife premiums increase over 20% in India

Data from the General Insurance Council of India showed that nonlife insurers’ gross direct premiums in the country increased by 20.5% year-on-year to 256.4 billion Indian rupees ($3.12 billion) in April, The Financial Express reported. New India Assurance Co. Ltd. saw a 10.4% year-on-year growth in written premiums to INR50.6 billion.
