Munich Re partners with Danish specialty insurance MGU

Germany-based Munich Reinsurance Co.’s Greentech Solutions Team and Denmark-based insurance managing general underwriter RiskPoint A/S’ Renewable Energy team have partnered to improve coverage for offshore wind contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers, Reinsurance News reported. The companies have launched an energy performance certificate cover to help contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in the renewable energy sector mitigate the risk of financial loss from contractual warranty obligations.
