Ardonagh to acquire Dutch commercial insurance broker

U.K.-based insurance broker The Ardonagh Group Ltd.’s European arm has agreed to acquire Netherlands-based commercial insurance broker Klap Verzekeringsmakelaar for more than €100 million ($109 million), The Irish Times reported. The deal will help Ardonagh to further strengthen its footprint in in the country, while also diversifying its portfolio and customer base.
