A report from Axa XL, a division of French insurer Axa SA, said that understanding water risks is crucial for all businesses and the cost to them of inaction on water risks is five times higher than the cost of action, Reinsurance News reported. Axa XL believes that despite the significance of understanding these risks, water security is often not included in the public debate on climate change.
