Howden receives license to operate in Bahrain

U.K.-based insurance broker Howden Group Holdings Ltd. is expanding its footprint in the Gulf region after it received a license from the Central Bank of Bahrain to establish operations in the country, Middle East Insurance Review reported. Howden Bahrain will provide insurance broking and risk advisory services across multiple risk sectors including aviation, construction, energy, marine, property and casualty, and specialty lines. In the Gulf region, the broker already has operations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Oman.
