Skyward Specialty names execs for captives, programs

Skyward Specialty Insurance Group Inc. on Wednesday appointed Ryan Burke and Amy Klatt to leadership roles in its captives and programs divisions.
Mr. Burke was promoted to lead the programs division as vice president, specialty programs. He joined the company in 2021 as underwriting manager in the programs division and is based in Houston.
Ms. Klatt was also named senior vice president, captives and programs claims, Skyward Specialty said. She was previously vice president of captives and programs claims and is based in Atlanta. Ms. Klatt joined the company in 2019 as claims director.
Houston-based Skyward Specialty closed an upsized initial public offering earlier this year and operates through eight underwriting divisions: accident and health; captives; global property; industry solutions; professional lines; programs; surety and transactional excess and surplus lines.
