BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Report finds 6% increase in health care costs, exceeding target

Health care spending rose 6% in Connecticut from 2020-2021, exceeding the benchmark target of 3.4%, reports Connecticut Public Radio. According to the Connecticut Office of Health Strategy’s first benchmark full report, the increases suggest a need to reassess existing cost control strategies and potentially consider new measures. Much of the increase was driven by an 18.8% surge in commercial health insurance spending, larger than other states with benchmarks such as Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Oregon.
