BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Bermuda-based reinsurer PartnerRe Ltd. posted a net loss attributable to common shareholders of $1.1 billion in 2022, compared to an income of $679 million in 2021, The Royal Gazette reported. The loss was due to unrealized losses on fixed maturities and short-term investments of $1.8 billion. The reinsurer’s losses from the Ukraine war, Hurricane Ian and other natural disasters increased to $489 million in 2022 from $483 million in 2021.
