BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Kuwait Insurance gets regulatory nod to buy takaful insurer

Kuwait Insurance Co. has received approval from the Insurance Regulatory Unit, the Competition Protection Agency and the Capital Markets Authority to acquire a majority stake in Kuwait-based National Takaful Insurance Co., Middle East Insurance Review reported. The company reached a preliminary purchase deal in November 2022 to acquire the stake in the takaful insurance firm.
