BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
French reinsurer Scor SE recorded a net loss of €301 million ($319.6 million) in 2022, mainly due to the Ukraine war, natural catastrophes such as Hurricane Ian and the severe drought in Brazil, Artemis reported. The net loss compares with a net income of €456 million in 2021. However, the reinsurer saw its gross written premium increase by 11.9% year-on-year to €19.7 billion in 2022, supported by growth in the property and casualty business.
