Peru-based miner Minsur S.A. has lost $118 million in sales after its San Rafael de Puno tin mine was forced to shut operations in January due to violent protests that followed the impeachment of the country's former president, Nasdaq reported citing Reuters. The mine, which produces about 9% of Minsur’s global tin, is located near many of the most intense protests.
