Uniqa's nonlife premiums up 16% in Bulgaria

Austria-based insurer Uniqa Insurance Group AG’s nonlife insurance premiums grew 16% year-on-year to €39.9 million ($42.2 million) in 2022, SeeNews reported. The insurer's pre-tax profit from its Bulgarian operations amounted to €1.7 million, compared to a pre-tax loss of €8.4 million in the year-ago period.
