BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Ukraine war anniversary cyberattack warning issued

The federal Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency issued a warning Thursday about the possibility of “disruptive and defacement” attacks against websites in an effort to “sow chaos and societal discord” on Friday, the anniversary of Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine.

CISA, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security, said organizations and individuals should increase their cyber vigilance in response to this potential threat.

The warning recommends CISA’s public cybersecurity resources, which include Shields Up, a one-stop webpage that provides resources in this area.

It also recommends Understanding and Responding to Distributed Denial-of-Service Attacks, a guide issued in October by CISA, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center, which suggests steps to reduce the likelihood and impact of such attacks.
