AssuredPartners makes senior executive changes

AssuredPartners Inc. on Wednesday said effective Sept. 1 Randy Larsen will be CEO of the Orlando, Florida-based brokerage, Paul Vredenburg will be president and chief operating officer and announced former CEO and co-founder Jim Henderson will be executive chairman.
Currently, Mr. Larsen is president of AssuredPartners and Mr. Vredenburg is COO and chief acquisitions officer.
Mr. Henderson, who founded the private equity-backed brokerage with Thomas E. Riley in 2011, first stepped down as CEO and took on the executive chairman title in 2021. He returned to the top role a few months later when Mr. Riley, who had been named CEO, stepped down.
Mr. Henderson “will remain active with the company as he assumes the role of executive chairman. Mr. Henderson will also work closely with Mr. Larsen, Mr. Vredenburg, and the rest of the executive team,” an AssuredPartners statement said.
AssuredPartners has grown rapidly since its founding by the two former Brown & Brown Inc. executives and is the 11th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
