Suleiman Adamu, Nigerian minister of water resources, said that the 2022 floods that wreaked havoc across the country caused $6.68 billion worth of economic damage, Blueprint Newspapers reported. Mr. Adamu said that last year's flood remains the worst recorded flooding event in Nigeria in terms of its impact.
