Axa hires from Dual for fine art role

Axa XL said Friday it has hired Casey Santangelo, former president of fine art at Dual North America Inc., as head of fine art and specie for the Americas.
She replaces Patrick Drummond, who left the company last year.
Ms. Santangelo, based in New York, had joined Dual in January to head up a fine arts program and prior to that was in the fine art, construction and inland marine risk practice at Travelers Cos. Inc.
She reports to Maria Duhart, chief underwriting officer, Americas specialty niche.
Axa XL also announced regional and zonal leader appointments for its fine art and specie business.
Gary Kerr was named underwriting manager, U.S. East zone; Barbara Corvino, underwriting manager, U.S. Central zone; Jake Burgess, underwriting manager, U.S. West zone; Farzina Coladon, underwriting manager, Canada and Natasha Fekula, claims manager, Americas.
Mr. Drummond joined program manager Distinguished Programs to head up a new fine arts and collectible team last December.
