Oman Re's premiums up nearly 33%

Oman Reinsurance Co. SAOC's gross written premiums increased 32.5% year-on-year to 36.6 million Omani rial ($94.8 million) in 2022, Middle East Insurance Review reported. The reinsurer's profit after tax increased 20% year-on-year to OMR1.6 million due to higher gross written premiums, investment performance, a significant increase in underwriting results and improvements in the reinsurance market.
