Insured losses from Turkey quake may exceed $4 billion

U.S.-based data and analytics company CoreLogic Inc. said that the insured losses from the deadly earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria on Feb. 6 may exceed $4 billion, Xprimm reported. The massive quakes destroyed approximately 8,300 buildings, including many commercial and industrial facilities, and have also disrupted flows of oil in the region.
