Lockton Re hires from Axis for cyber broker role

Lockton Re, the reinsurance division of broker Lockton Cos. Inc., on Friday said former Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. executive Matthew Silley has joined Lockton Re as a broker in the cyber practice of its specialty division.
Mr. Silley will join Lockton Re’s growing cyber practice and work with Oliver Brew, London cyber practice lead for Lockton Re, as well as colleagues in North America and Bermuda, a statement said.
He was most recently cyber portfolio management lead at Axis Capital and also previously worked at technology firm CyberCube, which models cyber exposures.
