Specialty Program Group merges environmental teams

Specialty Program Group LLC said Wednesday it has merged the environmental team of wholesale division Specialty Wholesale Insurance Solutions into Beacon Hill Associates.
Beacon Hill is a Charlottesville, Virginia-based wholesale broker and program administrator division of Specialty Program Group that specializes in placing environmental and energy coverages.
The consolidation will allow Specialty Program Group to leverage its agent and insurer partnerships, and existing partnerships will not change, the Summit, New Jersey-based specialty intermediary said in a statement.
