Cyber MGA unveils Coalition Insurance

Coalition Inc., a managing general agent specializing in cyber risk, said Monday it is introducing Coalition Insurance Co., which plans to begin issuing policies in March.
Coalition said in August it had completed its acquisition of Digital Affect Insurance Co., a licensed insurer in all 50 states, from Munich Re Digital Partners U.S. Holding Corp., with plans to offer insurance policies through its own admitted insurer.
San Francisco-based Coalition Inc. said Coalition Insurance Co., which is New York-based and has an A-rating from A.M. Best & Co., will begin quoting its admitted cyber product in many states in March, with a national rollout expected throughout the year.
Insurtech managing general agency At-Bay Inc. said last week it has acquired a licensed property/casualty insurer.
