Insurance reminder leaves swimmers all wet

USA Swimming this week used insurance to get the attention of its member clubs to register their swimmers with its new online system SWIMS 3.0.
In an email, USA Swimming reminded clubs that its insurance does not cover their practices or dryland workouts if they have any nonregistered participants, SwimSwam.com reported Thursday.
The news that an entire practice is uninsured if even one club swimmer has failed to renew their 2023 USA Swimming membership frustrated some as coaches and clubs struggled with the new compliance system.
