Cat bond market may see $11.5 billion of new issuances

Jean-Louis Monnier, head of retro and ILS structuring at Swiss Re Capital Markets Ltd., has said that the catastrophe bond market could see as much as $11.5 billion of new issuances in 2023, Artemis reported. Mr. Monnier said that Swiss Re Capital Markets anticipates a heavy first-half issuance pipeline.
