BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Elevance to acquire Louisiana Blue Cross & Blue Shield

Elevance Health Inc. will acquire Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Louisiana, adding the Baton Rouge-based insurer’s 1.9 million members to its Anthem Blue Cross brand, reports Becker’s Payer Issues. The two companies said in a Jan. 23 news release that BCBS's 3,000 employees will join Elevance, but the plan's headquarters will remain in Baton Rouge.
