NFP names senior VP, professional liability

NFP Corp. said Thursday it has named John Ferreira senior vice president and professional liability practice leader with its management, cyber and professional liability practice.
Mr. Ferreira, who is based in Morristown, New Jersey, was formerly with Cranford, New Jersey-based Chamber Insurance Agency Services most recently as executive vice president.
He reports to Matthew Schott, managing director and head of NFP’s management, cyber and professional liability practice, in his newly created role.
NFP said in December it had named former Marsh LLC executive Andrew Canning senior vice president and head of project risk advisory for the company’s North America construction & infrastructure group, part of NFP’s specialty business.
