BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

(Reuters) — Yum Brands Inc. said late Wednesday that a ransomware attack impacted certain of its information technology systems, leading to the closure of nearly 300 restaurants in the United Kingdom for a day.

The company said all of the stores were now operational and an investigation had been initiated.

Yum, which owns KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, did not specify which restaurants were impacted by the attack. It said there was no evidence customer databases were stolen even though data was taken from the company's network.

The company said the event was not expected to have a material adverse impact on its business, operations or financial results.
